If you hire the venue to host a public bookable event or workshop we will promote this through our own social media and in our busy café!

Please note use of the café area adjoining the main space is not included as standard in the venue hire.

All day on Sundays and Mondays and evenings only Tuesday – Saturday. We welcome enquiries for regular bookings on an ongoing basis and would be delighted to discuss these options with you.

Throughout the months of December, April and August we can offer a wider variety of times and dates for hire as we pause our art classes during these periods.

The area measures 10 metres by 4.8 metres (just over 48 square metres). The tables and chairs are a permanent fixture when hiring The Barn, making it perfect for creative workshops. You are free to arrange the tables and chairs as you wish (or we can have this all set up for you ahead of time). Unfortunately the space is not suitable for exercise classes or any floor based activities.

The cost of hire for the venue is £55 per hour. If you require refreshments with or without the addition of cakes/pastries please contact us for a bespoke quote.

We require that you leave the space clean and tidy after your event and provide all cleaning equipment for your use. If you would like for us to take care of the cleaning for you we can offer this service for an additional £35. The same charge applies for any pre-event set up requirements you may wish us to take care of.

We do not provide catering, however depending on date of hire, we may be able to provide refreshments including cold beverages, tea and barista coffee as well as cake and pastry options at an additional cost; we are always happy to talk through your requirements with you.

While we strive to accommodate everyone, our space has not been specifically designed with very young children in mind (our seating does not suit toddlers for example). For safety and comfort reasons we recommend this space for adult guests and older children only.

Yes, you are welcome to decorate the space with your own decorations if you wish, however we ask that you do not stick or pin anything to the walls.
