The Barn at Friends Farm

We are a family run art studio, cafe and shop based in our 16th century renovated barn and smallholding in Swanwick village. We offer art lessons, as well as a cafe for locals and visitors. We love what we do and feel so lucky to be able to share our passion with others.

Regular classes by Artist Sue Rubira MA(RCA).

In the classes, Sue focuses on teaching the basics of composition, colour, and form. She also covers a variety of painting techniques. Students will have the opportunity to try their hand at different mediums, including watercolour, mixed media and oils.

Sue's goal is to help her students find their own unique style. She believes that everyone has the ability to create beautiful art, regardless of experience or skill level.
